RAISED: I grew up in western Sydney after moving to Australia from South Africa in 1986.
EDUCATED: I got a double degree in English and German in 2003, after which I completed a graduate diploma in TESOL. In 2009, I thought it was time to finish up my studies and I completed my Masters in TESOL in 2010.
WORKED: I've had a lot of different jobs ranging from being a batender in the UK, a housekeeper in Canada as well as TESOL teacher, TESOL teacher-trainer, and promo girl for two radio stations in Australia. I also had a short stint in a hardware store.

Hello and thanks for checking out my website. Here's a little bit about me...
I am the author of The Half Blood Series and The Dark Series. Both are written in the urban fantasy genre with hints of paranormal romance thrown in.
My first book, Half Blood, was published in April 2012 via Amazon KDP. I was really just testing the waters of my writing, but with the success of Half Blood, I also released Half Truths and Half Life in the same year. It's been a whirlwind ever since with the release of the fourth book in the series, Half Cast, being released late in 2013.
The Dark Series is another one of my creations. I've always been fascinated by mythology, especially the Norse gods and eddas. I signed a three book deal with Momentum (Pan Macmillan) in 2014. The third installment - Dark Devotion - is set for release February 2016.
I have a variety of interests apart from writing including getting my creativity on by designing book covers, reading, baking, travelling and muay thai. Some of my favourite things are: huge cups of tea in the morning, being warm in the winter, autumn, chocolate and open fires. Things I hate: high-heeled shoes, liars, having dirty feet when I get into bed and the smell of over-ripe bananas.
